The opening program for the 2011 Summer Reading Program was a 'hot' time with Magical Fires of Polynesia as they presented traditional dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and many other Polynesian cultures -- including the Fire Knife and Fire Poi dances! 

This year, the library explored the world during story times for the 2011 One World, Many Stories Summer Reading Program, all thanks to to wonderful volunteer storytellers.
